Kyoto hasn't been a disappointment so far - lots of temples, gardens and walking to be expected. In this vlog, we head to the Inari Station where the Fushimi Shrine is located and was SO shocked to see that the shrine pillar were all in orange! All the while through photos on IG, I've always thought there were a dark shade of red. We thought it was a new pantone they were going for - but its apparently how it's always been.

In this vlog we also visit the Kiyomizu Temple. Recommended to get on a on-site tour if available because everything looks very similiar but it'll be more fun to know the background story of the places in within the temple.

Overall, Id give Kiyomizu a 4/10 and the Fushimi a 6/10 :)

About author
Thenatstory was started to keep vlogs of my days when I was studying in Seoul in 2008. The channel is now a log of my life, in replacement of my blog at www.thenatstory.com. It really is about the life of a 30 year old living in the heart of KL with comfortable company. Core goes back to travelling and visiting places for a good period of weeks or months, but when I'm not doing that - I'm on my bed watching Youtube videos, and probably have some crumbs all over from that bar of Crunchie. I share tips and experiences from time to time - but really, I think YOUR advise comes more useful to me than mine may do to you. Say HI or SUBSCRIBE, maybe?
